Fibromyalgia is a condition that is hard to diagnose due to the range of symptoms that people with the condition face. It involves chronic muscle and joint pain that ranges from severe to mild. Some people may have the condition but not get diagnosed with it.

Natural Treatments

Exercising daily

Some people that have a sharp pain may think that the best way to make it go away is to not move at all. This can actually be the wrong way to go about it though, as being stagnant too long can increase the pain.

Exercising, in little doses, can help increase the strength of the joints and muscles while decreasing pain. Talk to your physician first, since they know what your body is capable of more than I do. But, it is something to look into.

Vitamins and Supplements

I cannot say for sure whether or not this will work, but some people insist that vitamins can help strengthen your muscles and joints. I would, yet again, talk to your physician and see if there are any that may help you in any way possible.

Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness activities can calm both your mind and body, as it focusing on relaxing yourself and listening to your inner thoughts.

Being able to relax from the stresses of daily lives, and help cope with depression and anxiety, is a way to also help small joint paints. It takes the tension off of the muscles.

Yoga

Yoga is another way to help reduce stress in your muscles and help ease your joint pain. There are so many different positions available that can help with stretching but not overworking, your hands and other body parts. This may not help with your hands as much though.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can help ease your muscles by stimulating your nerves and pressure points. It has been known to help with migraines and can also help with certain body pains.

I would look into this if you need a temporary way to ease the pain. Yes, needles can be scary to some, but they can also be helpful.

Treatments Available That Are Non-Natural

1- Joint and Muscle Surgeries

This is one of the most options, I know, but sometimes surgeries are the only, or best, option out there. If your pain is bad enough you MAY need to have a minor surgery to help repair the muscle or joint.

2- Anti-Inflammatory and Painkillers

Medications can be a problem for some people but they are ways to temporarily stop the pain. If you are able to stop the pain long enough to perform your daily routines than that can be quite helpful, especially on days when the pain is especially bad.

3- Gels, Creams, And Salves

Some gels and creams can be natural, but I was not sure whether to place it in the natural selection or not. There are medicinal creams that can be used to help temporarily ease joint pain.

4- Binds and Other Clothing That Restricts Movement in Joints to Help Heal

People who suffer from Fibromyalgia, Arthritis or other joint pain related conditions may wear certain gloves or pieces of clothing that help hold the joint together so that it can heal and not be moved excessively.

Products from Amazon That Can Help
